Chicken! & Chequered Flags to Chequered Futures (DVD)

This is the first of Mark’s productions to be put onto DVD with professional performers. StopWatch Theatre Company has performed Chicken! nearly 6,000 times since 1992 from Cornwall to the Shetland Islands. Their outstanding production is filmed in front of two Year 6 audiences (edited into one performance),  to give an unprecedented opportunity to study a high quality professional TiE production in action.

This DVD includes:
– Chicken! by Mark Wheeller, performance of the play  by 2M/2F professional cast

– Follow-up Workshop, the acclaimed StopWatch Theatre  Company workshop which examines decision making  and assertiveness for KS2 audiences

– Interview with Mark Wheeller (writer) and Adrian New (director), the story of the development of Chicken!

– Interview with the Cast, an insight into the life of actors  in a TiE company.

Bonus features:
– Chequered Flags to Chequered Futures. Presented by Victoria Shanghai Academy in Hong Kong who commissioned it.

– Q & A with playwright Mark Wheeller, the director, Joanna Crimmins and the Gilfoy family (central characters in the play). Chris Gilfoy developed the role of Chris in the original production of Chicken.
